It’s one holly jolly time

Ever wonder what makes Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party ‘very’ merry, and not just normal merry? After posing that question to ourselves, it only made sense to create a full backstory – along with a new marketing campaign, of course.

We Went Retro

Since the most wonderful time of the year often conjures images of  nostalgia, we decided to reflect this feeling through use of vintage character representation, typography and score. Color palette was also aligned with cartoon shorts from the 1940s.

Best of all? Disney animating legend Eric Goldberg – whose credits include Aladdin, Hercules and many more – brought the tv spot to life!
